Haddam Community Fund

The Haddam Community Fund was
established with the Washington County Community Foundation in the Fall
of 2025 by local community members. The Washington County Community
Foundation has been operating as an affiliate of the Greater Saline
Community Foubdtion for fifteen years as a 501(c)(3)nonprofit
organization. Donations are tax dedicible and can be made at any time. The foundation tends to hold a yearly "Match Event" in December, which is a great way to increase your donation and invest in the future of Haddam. The Haddam Community Fund requires a minimum balance of $10,000 as an endowed base which will always remain in the Fund. Interest gained yearly wll be rolled back into the Fund. Any amount above $10,000 will be available to use within the Haddam area. There is a small board of community members who will take grant applications and make decisions on how the money will be distributed toward improvements or needs of the community. Donations to the Fund can be given in many ways and at any time: online giving, checks mailed in, cash, crypto, IRA distributions, estate gifts, legacy giving, gifts of grain, gifts of land, and so much more! Any gift given is also tax deductible. We are excited to see the Haddam Community Fund grow and have a positive impact for years to come!
